Algeria has introduced new procedures for type approval of electronic communication equipment through Executive Decree No. 26-97. The updated framework extends certificate validity to five years, introduces a digital application platform, requires timely submission of product samples, and establishes clearer labeling and transparency requirements for manufacturers and importers.
