Type Approval for Telecom Equipment: All wireless and radio frequency devices must be type-approved by SUBTEL. Approval confirms the device meets technical and safety standards.
Electrical Safety Certification: Products such as lighting, household appliances, and power tools must be certified by SEC to confirm compliance with safety regulations.
Labeling Requirements: Products must have labels in Spanish, including key information such as product name, manufacturer/importer details, safety warnings, instructions, lot number, expiration date (if applicable), and country of origin.
Food and Pharma Registration: Packaged food, supplements, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products must be registered with SAG or ISP, depending on the product category.
