1. Austrian Standards International (ASI)

Product Certification and Compliance Requirements
Product Certification: Confirms that products meet specific requirements set out in standards, legislation, and regulations. This applies to all traders from EU Member States operating in Austria.
Conformity Assessment: Manufacturers must carry out a risk analysis and ensure their products comply with applicable rules before placing them on the EU market. This involves technical documentation and, where required, third-party assessment by a notified body.
EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC): A mandatory document that manufacturers or their authorized representatives must sign to declare that their products comply with EU requirements. By signing the DoC, they take full responsibility for the product's compliance.
Brazil ANATEL Ato 10.400: 6 GHz Wi-Fi Band Cut
ANATEL confirmed that certificates covered by Ato No. 10.400 and expiring on or after March 1, 2027, must be updated to the reduced 5925–6425 MHz Wi-Fi range as part of renewal, even if renewal paperwork is filed early. Brazil is freeing up the upper 6 GHz band for cellular services, and OCDs have already proposed the testing requirements ANATEL is expected to adopt. Manufacturers of Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 products should review certificate expiration dates now.
