Rwanda RURA announced a new type approval process. Now local or international companies can be the local representative. Also, network operators can be certificate holders.
Government agency is planning to simplify the type approval process by having mutual recognition agreements with other countries but there is no specific country announced yet.
The processing time is reduced to ten business days for standard applications and one sample is required. RURA is keeping the sample for the records.
