Colombia 450 MHz Spectrum: ANE Opens Public Consultation
Colombia 450 MHz spectrum is back under regulatory review. On 11 August 2026, the Agencia Nacional del Espectro (ANE) opened a public consultation on its problem-formulation document for a planning study of the 440-470 MHz band. South Korea Reallocates LTE Spectrum for 5G: RRA Revises Wireless Equipment Standards

Mexico IFT-011-2022 Amendment: Emergency Alert Rules
Mexico's telecom regulator, the CRT, has run a public consultation on a proposed amendment to IFT-011-2022, Part 3 - the mandatory Cell Broadcast Service rules for risk and emergency alerts on mobile terminal equipment. The Mexico IFT-011-2022 amendment would add alert-message categories, audible and vibration cues, a bar on users disabling alerts, and new test methods for certification bodies and labs. The comment window (10-21 August 2026) has closed; attention now shifts to the final text.

Vietnam Circular 36/2026: Risk Based Device Rules

India C-V2X 5.9 GHz De-Licensing: DoT Exempts OBUs
India's Department of Telecommunications has confirmed the India C-V2X 5.9 GHz de-licensing, exempting Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything On Board Units in the 5875–5905 MHz band from spectrum licensing under G.S.R. 466(E), effective 10 June 2026.
