  • Telecom Type Approval: Devices using radio frequencies or telecom networks must receive type approval from ComCom prior to market access.

  • Labeling Requirements: Labels must be in Georgian and include:

    • Product name

    • Manufacturer or importer details

    • Country of origin

    • Usage instructions

    • Expiry date (if applicable)

    • Safety warnings and regulatory marks (if required)

  • Import Documentation: Required documents typically include:

    • Commercial invoice

    • Certificate of conformity or compliance

    • Technical documents for regulated products

    • Product registration (for medical/health-related items)

  • Market Surveillance: Authorities conduct inspections and testing to monitor ongoing product safety. Non-compliant items may face fines, recalls, or removal from the market.
