Product Certification and Compliance Requirements
Certificate of Conformity (CoC): Required for various products to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The CoC process involves identifying relevant standards, preparing documentation, selecting an accredited certification body, and undergoing assessments. Industries commonly requiring CoC include automotive, electronics, medical devices, construction materials, and consumer goods.
Labeling Requirements: All products imported and sold in Angola must have labels in Portuguese, including information such as ingredients, expiration dates, quantity, production batch, manufacturer or seller details, and country of origin. Products must have a minimum six-month shelf life remaining upon import.
Telecommunications Equipment: Devices must obtain type approval from INACOM, which accepts EU (RED) approvals and associated test reports for market access.
